SUMMER MEETING
4 BBB STABLEFORD
for the Barber Trophies
MONDAY 29TH JULY 2024
at ENMORE PARK CLUB
2023 holders: Ann Gates & Janet Street, Wheathill GC
2024 winner: Linda Johnson, Wheathill GC and Lesley Wills, Tickenham GC
Fifty SLPC members played in the 2024 Summer Meeting at Enmore Park Golf Club. It was a very hot day which challenged players especially approaching the 16th and 17th holes. The Enmore Park GC Lady Captain Tina Morgan and her team welcomed everyone, and Rhys Morgan Club Captain ensured everyone had a warm welcome on the first tee. The course played well which enabled players to score well in the 4BBB Stableford competition. Lesley Wills (Tickenham GC) and Linda Johnson (Wheathill GC) won the Barber Trophies with an excellent score of 44 points. In second place were Julie Blumgart and Jackie Woodman both from Enmore Park GC with 42 points. In third place were Annya Patten and Deidre Wheadon from Isle of Wedmore GC. A great day followed by a swift AGM.
