Massive congratulations to Somerset Ladies 2nd Team who won 6-3 in their 36 hole match today against Gloucestershire at Knowle GC. This follows on from an impressive 8-1 win against Wiltshire the previous week at Wells GC. These results qualify the team to play in the 2nd team South-West final in October.
Thankfully the rain held off, and a cheeky ball stealing fox didn’t hold us back. Many thanks to the host clubs and the Gloucestershire and Wiltshire teams, all games were played in great spirit.
Special mention to Lilianna and Ffion who were both playing in their first 2nd team matches over the two weekends, both did the county proud.
