​Welcome to the Somerset Ladies County Golf Association

SLCGA organise a number of golf competitions and team events throughout the year to encourage golfers of all abilities, including our junior girls.

These competitions are not aimed at those who either play or aspire to play for the County teams, rather they are for all County members with a handicap.  There are both gross and nett prizes in all competitions.

These events are held at clubs around the County, giving ladies the opportunity to play sociable and competitive golf at several different courses each year.

We look forward to continued success in encouraging golfers of all abilities.
ENGLAND GOLF CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS EVENTS AT WOODHALL SPA, 6th - 8th September
The SLCGA were very pleased to sponsor our three champions to play in these prestigious EG events -

Abigail Moore won our County Championship back in May with an exceptional 36-hole score and although she is still a junior, was representing Somerset as our champion.  Abbie tied 14th after 36 holes, a very good finish for such a tough event.

We were delighted to be represented by Amanda Mayne (yet again) as the Senior Champion , and Abi Whittock as our Junior Champion.  

​Although they weren't in the winners enclosure, thank you to them all for representing our county at such a high level and we hope they all enjoyed the experience.

CONGRATULATIONS to WORLEBURY GC for winning the finals of the 2024 British Clubs Mixed Championships on Sept 26 &27 at Celtic Manor.  A superb result for our Somerset club!
SW SENIORS INTERCOUNTIES was played at Torquay on 21st August.  See here for a full report & photos.  Congratulations to Sara Cox-Conklin for her hole in one!
