The Somerset Senior ladies played their last match of the year at Newquay Golf Club battling extremely strong winds but generally avoiding the rain which came later.
We enjoyed a challenging course, the highlight of which was watching the coast guard practicing manoeuvres close by.
An interesting day, good company followed by an excellent meal, sadly the result was not what we had hoped for 6-1/2 - 1/2 to Cornwall.
