The sun shone brightly with a very gentle breeze as the teams waited to tee off. The course was challenging but the views across the bay were quite spectacular, and the weather was on our side. Although we lost 6.5 -0.5 some of the matches were quite close. It was definitely an advantage to have played the course before, as several of the Cornwall players had. Judging by the convivial atmosphere afterwards during the meal most ladies had enjoyed the day.
