The Captain’s v Vice Captain’s match took place at Wells GC on 31st July, we managed to have 24 senior ladies joining the match but it was difficult as there were lots of team changes.
The Wells ladies were very supportive but I could only make the 24 ladies . It was a good day, the weather was sunny, the course played very well despite the very dry conditions and the food was also enjoyed by everyone.
The captain’s team just managed a win but it was close 3-1/2 to 2-1/2

The Captain’s team took on the Vice-Captain’s team at Minehead on a sunny but breezy day, it was a well fought match with the Vice-Captain’s team winning 4 1/2 to 2 1/2. It was an enjoyable day with so many Senior Ladies playing in a match for the first time.
