sOMERset county senior ladies golf association (scslga)
SCSLGA Members shall be ladies belonging to any Club affiliated to the SLCGA and must be at least 60 years of age. They are eligible to join with effect from 1st January of the year in which they become 60 but must have attained the age of 60 before taking part in any Golf Meeting or Match.

POLICY ON THE USE OF GOLF BUGGIES
Updated September 2024 to allow the use of a buggy for players who are 80 years of age or older on the day of the competition. No medical is required in this instance.

SHIELD MATCHES
During the course of a year, Inter-Counties matches will be played annually for the South West Vets Ladies Golf Association (SWVLGA) Shield, against teams from three Counties, Cornwall, Devon
and Somerset. These matches alternate between a “home” and an “away” venue from year to year.

FRIENDLY matches
Two friendly matches are played against Gloucestershire and Hampshire on an away and home basis. In addition there is a Somerset Captain versus Vice Captain friendly match played at the Captain's home club.
